Signs Your FAAC Welding & Fabrication Is Failing

• The gate scrapes or drags at the latch side. The hinge posts have settled, or a hinge leaf has pulled off the post. The gate sags at the free end, which puts constant shear on the welds and constant overload on the FAAC operator’s limit stops.
• A crack you can see, usually at the top or bottom hinge. This is fatigue, and in Inglewood the coastal salt air accelerates it. Once a crack opens, water gets in and the rust cycle makes it grow faster than you think. If you can see it from the driveway, it’s already deep enough to need welding, not epoxy.
